LUBBOCK, Texas (NEWS CENTER) - Even in retirement, legendary Maine collegiate baseball coach Dr. John Winkin continues to rack up numbers.? The former Colby, UMaine, and Husson manager's 11th hall of fame induction was his most illustrious:? the College Baseball Hall of Fame.

In 54 seasons of coaching (1954-2008), he compiled 1,043 winnings highlighted by six appearances at the College World Series with the Black Bears.?
