Eat This, Walter Gropius: Bauhaus Food Photography

The Bauhaus movement continues to have a strong impact in many fields, from product design (Apple) to music (the goth-rock band Bauhaus) to ? food? Yes, Bauhaus has now invaded the culinary world, which isn?t that surprising when you consider the rise of haute cuisine: from glossy food porn to confectionary gallery installations to performance-art dinner parties. It was only a matter of time before Bauhaus was thrown into the skillet.

Combining their passions for design and eating, Berlin-based photographer Nicola ?Nicky? Walsh and food stylist Max Faber have staged a photo shoot constructing Bauhaus-themed ?paintings? completely out of goodies that would leave Gropius feeling proud, and perhaps hungry. More photos here!
