Washington County IN crash claims life of Pekin woman

Washington Co., Ind. (WHAS) ? A blown tire is being blamed for causing a deadly accident in Southern Indiana Saturday evening.

The crash happened on East State Route 60 in Washington County, just west of the Clark County line.

Washington County Sherriff?s Department says the driver of the care Dauderie Cranmer of Pekin, Indiana was killed when she hit a concrete culvert and flipped her vehicle.

Cranmer worked as an assistant to Pastor Michael Donahue at the Speed Memorial Church in Sellersburg.

?What happened was life. The tire blew, the accident occurred but then in God?s love he looked at Dauderie and said I can?t have you suffer and called her home,? Donahue said.

Cramer?s husband James was a passenger in the car. He was flown to University Hospital with serious injuries.
